Smbat Saakyan Joins Miraworks as Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer

Former head of $20 million Datacenter and Infrastructure business unit at one of Russia’s Top System Integrators will help power Miraworks hybrid and cloud infrastructure design

Miraworks, the world’s first on-premise, and cloud multi-vendor configuration & design tool, today announced that Smbat Saakyan, a recognized technology leader, has joined the company as Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer. Saakyan was most recently Head of Datacenter and Infrastructure for CTI, one of Russia’s top system integrators, where he led the $20 million IT infrastructure business unit through substantial revenue growth.

At Miraworks, Saakyan will direct hybrid and cloud IT infrastructure multivendor configurator development and IT equipment consulting services. Smbat will bring a combination of extensive sales and tech experience, and go-to-market expertise to his work in ensuring Miraworks customer success initiatives. Having driven complex IT infrastructure projects for Russia’s leading enterprises, Saakyan will also focus on business development and continued expansion into Europe and the CIS.

Smbat Saakyan spent the last four years managing IT infrastructure business unit at CTI and working on IT infrastructure projects as a technical consultant at Huawei and IBS.
